2. Introduction
These terms govern the rights and obligations of the seller and the buyer when goods are sold through the seller's online shop. The buyer may be a consumer or a business; the provisions on withdrawal and other consumer protection provisions apply to consumers only. Anything these terms do not cover is governed by Slovak Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection, the Civil Code and, for business buyers, the Commercial Code. The Slovak version of these terms prevails.
3. Order and conclusion of the contract
The buyer orders by filling in the checkout form and pressing "Order with obligation to pay". Before sending the order the buyer sees the total price including delivery and fees and has to agree to these terms. We confirm receipt of the order by email.
The contract of sale is concluded when the seller approves the order and sends the buyer a confirmation with the payment details (a proforma invoice). For made-to-measure goods the contract is concluded only once the buyer accepts the seller's price offer. The seller may decline an order, in particular when the goods are unavailable or the price was obviously wrong - any payment is then refunded without delay.
The contract is concluded in Slovak or English. The seller archives the concluded contract (order) electronically and sends it to the buyer by email together with these terms.
4. Price and payment
Prices are in euros and final. The price of delivery and payment is shown in the checkout and on the Shipping and Payment page. You can pay by bank transfer according to the proforma invoice, cash on delivery, or in cash on collection. An invoice is issued after payment.
5. Delivery
Goods in stock are usually dispatched within 5 working days of the contract being concluded (for bank transfers, of the payment arriving), and no later than within 30 days. The delivery time of made-to-measure goods is agreed in the price offer. Goods are delivered by Slovak Post or collected in person. Ownership passes to the buyer on payment of the full price, the risk of damage on receipt of the goods.
We recommend checking the parcel on delivery and recording any visible damage with the carrier.
6. Withdrawal without giving a reason
A consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of the day on which they, or a person they named (other than the carrier), receive the goods; for several goods delivered separately, from receipt of the last of them. The deadline is met if the withdrawal is sent before it expires.
You can withdraw:
- online using the withdrawal form - we acknowledge receipt by email without undue delay,
- by email to info@domitvori.sk,
- by letter to Kvetná 12, 811 01 Bratislava, Slovakia,
for instance using the model form below. The goods must be returned to the seller's address no later than 14 days after withdrawing; the consumer bears the direct cost of returning them.
The seller refunds all payments including delivery costs (up to the cheapest delivery offered) within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, using the same means of payment the consumer used unless agreed otherwise. The seller need not refund before the goods have been received back or the consumer has shown that they were sent. The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and functioning.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications, made to measure or clearly personalised (products marked "Made to measure"), or to sealed goods unsuitable for return for hygiene reasons (e.g. cosmetic soaps) once unsealed after delivery.
7. Liability for defects and complaints
The seller is liable for defects present on receipt and for defects appearing within the 24-month warranty period. Complaints are handled according to the returns policy.
8. Personal data
We process the buyer's personal data to conclude and perform the contract as described in the privacy policy.
9. Alternative dispute resolution
A consumer who is not satisfied with how a complaint was handled, or who believes the seller has breached their rights, may ask the seller for redress. If the seller refuses or does not reply within 30 days, the consumer may submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to an ADR body, such as the Slovak Trade Inspection (www.soi.sk); the list of ADR bodies is kept by the Slovak Ministry of Economy (www.mhsr.sk). This does not affect the right to go to court.
10. Final provisions
The contract is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. The buyer is bound by the version of these terms valid when the order was sent. These terms take effect on 25 September 2026.
